Northern Thailand Trek: Package A
6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS ADVENTURE PACKAGE TOUR & TREKKING NORHTHERN THAILAND PROGRAM :
This itinerary is a basic program for 6 Days 5 Nights extension is possible, however subject to seat availability.
Day 01 : Chiang Mai International Youth Hostel
Departure from your country arrive Chiang Mai and transfer to Chiang Mai International Youth Hostel, Evening welcome to Chiang Mai with Khan Tok Dinner & Show at OldChiangMaiCultureCenter.
Day 02 : Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai (B/L)
Breakfast, start the full day tour to Chiang Rai. Visit Chiang Rai, anther interesting city in the Northern Thailand and also a warm home for various hill tribes, Mae Sai Burma border, Chiang Sean ancient old city, Golden Triangle ., take a boat trip to Laos(no need visa , we will arrange a paper for you) and visit Karen Padong Long Neck & Long Ears, Akha & Lahu Hill Tribes. Evening back to Chiang Mai, transfer to Chiang Mai International Youth Hostel.

3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS ADVENTURE TREKKING NORHTHERN THAILAND New program for 2007 – 2009 : Pai & Samerng District area.

Day 03 : Chiang Mai – Hill Tribes(B/L/D)
After your own breakfast at the hostel. Depart from Chiang Mai at 09.30 A.M. to Northwest of Chiang Mai to Pai, Mae Hong Sorn area. Stop at the local market and continue the trip to MeoHillTribesVillage to have lunch. Then we start the trek for 3 hrs. to Karen hill tribes villages where we can learn about the hill tribes life and their tradition and culture. The original in Mynmar (Burma) and they are the largest tribal minority in Thailand. And overnight at the Karen hill tribes villages.
Day 04: Hill Tribes (B/L/D)
Breakfast, we walk to elephant camp (1hrs.) We take an elephant ride through to the jungle around 1.30 hrs. We will have a good time at the waterfall and lunch here. After we walk around 2 hrs to the Karen village and a good time with the hill tribes and walk to our elephant camp nearby the village and we will overnight here.

Day 05: Hill Tribes – Chiang Mai (B/L)
After breakfast, walk up and down the hill for 2 hours to the Shan hill tribe village. In a pickup, you will go to another Shan village where you will take your lunch. Then, after 10 mins. driving, we will arrive in the bamboo rafting camp where you will raft along the river for 1h half.
End of our trek , transfer back to Chiang Mai International Youth Hostel.
Day 06 : Chiang Mai (B)
Termination of the tour after breakfast
(Note : B= Breakfast L= Lunch D= Dinner)
Departs daily year round.
Tour Price = xxxx .00 Thai Baht for twin or double room sharing.
Price for single person who travel alone = 5950.00 Thai Baht. (no sharing room)
With en-suite room, air-con, international cable T.V. and hot private shower, free WiFi in room or hi-speed internet to use.
Service included in the tour price:
- All transportation on the itinerary.
- 3 Nights accommodation in single room with breakfast at the hostel and 2 nights with the Hill Tribes family.
- Sleeping kit, consisting of mat for the floor and a sheet as well as a rucksack and lifejacket will be provided during the trekking.
- All meal including on the itinerary.
- English – speaking guide.
- Full day trip to Chiang Rai.
- Admission fees where applicable.(National park free 400 Bht.)
- Insurance during on trek & trip

THE MAIN TIHINGS NEEDED DURING THE TREK:
• Walking shoes or tennis shoes, rucksack.
• Slippers or sandals.
• Pants and T-shirt
• Sweater / jumper, jacket, sleeping bag ( Oct – Feb)
• Torch / flash light
• Swimming suit
• Sun glass, sun protection cream
• Mosquito / insect repellant
• Personal necessities like – soap, towel, tissue, toothbrush.
• First aids and personal medicines (pills- diarrhea, cold, headache etc..)
• No need of mosquito net, extra luggage, any valuable thing etc.
